Set within 3 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, our elegant, Georgian Grade II listed manor house has become one of the leading venues in Shropshire for hosting romantic weddings, civil ceremonies and partnerships and same-sex weddings. We also cater for receptions should you choose to have a church wedding or get married abroad or want to hold a naming day ceremony.
Centrally located in Telford, the hotel has a rural Country house but with easy motorway access and ample free parking our hotel.

We understand that your celebration day is very special and our professional and experienced team will help you turn your dreams into reality. We have many years of experience in hosting top-quality weddings in Shropshire and have won numerous Wedding Industry Awards, over many years. Our experienced Wedding Planners will guide you through every stage of planning your wedding celebration with regular meetings and communication. You can rest assured that your wedding will be the only wedding on the day and you can even upgrade for the exclusive use of the whole hotel (added fees apply) in either case, you will have a dedicated Event Manager who will act as a Toastmaster, leaving nothing to chance. You and your guests can then relax and enjoy a memorable wedding or celebration day.

The Perfect Wedding Venue for your Reception
Described as Shropshire’s ‘hidden gem’, our four-star luxury country house hotel is full of character and retains many of the original 18th Century features. The charming exterior and interior make it an ideal backdrop for your photographs, from the wide wooden staircase and oak-panelled lounge to the stunning light and airy conservatory. On warmer days, you can take advantage of using our two terraces or our sunken garden.
As a licenced wedding venue in Telford, you can take your vows in the conservatory or the larger Mulliner suite. Our hotel can also be available as an exclusive wedding venue (supplements do apply) so you and your guests can have the complete run of the house and the use of both our function rooms for your drinks reception, your wedding vows and your wedding breakfast. Beautiful on-site Bedrooms and Suites
As an independent wedding hotel in Shropshire, we have a choice of rooms for you and your guests with 12 unique bedrooms in the original Georgian house which are complemented by 10 modern bedrooms in the West Wing. All have been finished to the same high standard and have en-suite bathrooms, luxury furnishings and everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Many couples like to book one of our two exclusively designed Honeymoon suites. The first has a large, comfortable four-poster bed and a roll-top bath, and the second has a traditional wooden sleigh bed and a large bathroom complete with a twin Jacuzzi bath.
The Chamber Suite in our West Wing is available for those getting married for the evening before their wedding with plenty of space to get ready the next day and for family visits as well as hair and make-up stylists. The added benefit is that this suite is at the far end of the hotel, so you are unlikely to bump into anyone before the ceremony! See more about our rooms.
Choosing your Wedding Menu
We know this can be tricky, while you want the food to be memorable, you are also catering for large numbers of people with a variety of palates so why not take advantage of our experience and let us guide you through our extensive banqueting menu options. We can cater for all budgets from a set wedding menu to our Celebration packages to an Executive package including arrival and reception drinks to champagne for the toast.
Rest assured our Chef is always ready to discuss your ideas and create something to your exact requirements. Or if you fancy something a bit different – how about a Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea Package, a hog roast or BBQ, Bowl food or a Buffet?
Canapes are also available for your guests to enjoy with their reception drinks and whilst the all-important photographs are taken and we also cater for children with a special menu and can happily provide alternatives for any number of food allergies.
When it comes to drinks you can go traditional with Buck’s Fizz or champagne on arrival, or how about a summer or winter Pimm’s or selected cocktails and bottled beer?
Our Conservatory can comfortably accommodate up to 80 people and the Mulliner Suite 140 guests. Evening receptions are held in the Mulliner Suite and can accommodate up to 200 guests. See our room layouts here
