Springtime makes us smile

Well what wonderful weather we’ve had this week! Let’s hope that this glorious weather continues. We love to see people sat in the sun on the terrace at the front of the Shropshire hotel. Leona likes to look at their sunglasses (apparently she’s after a new designer pair herself), whilst I like to be slightly more responsible and hand out the sunscreen.

To be honest, we’d love to be able to sit and relax in the sun on the terrace – whether it’s for a bite to eat at lunchtime, or enjoying pre-dinner drinks before people head into Dorrells Restaurant. Then, we also like to see those enjoying a delicious afternoon tea or a glass of something cool and bubbly after work. The sunshine always makes you feel so much better and we can’t wait for the long summer days.

Spring also brings out the flowers in the grounds and the leaves bursting from the trees, all of which makes the perfect backdrop for photographs whether it’s to celebrate a wedding, anniversary or special occasion.
