Hadley Park to sponsor Great Big Thank You Award
The Great Big Thank You Awards are the brainchild of the Shropshire Star and have been established to reward those people and groups across the region who go the extra mile to make local communities special. Hadley Park House Hotel is delighted to be the award sponsor of the Outstanding Bravery Award. This award is looking for a local person who has shown exceptional courage or determination in order to help others, perhaps putting their own life in danger. This may have been helping out in an emergency, saving someone’s life or preventing a scene deteriorating into a dangerous situation. It could be a member of the emergency services who has been outstanding in their field on or off duty.
Shropshire Charity Venue
Here at Hadley Park House, we are proud that our Telford Hotel can support a worthwhile event that recognises a whole host of local champions. Where possible we try to support local charities and are delighted when we host events like charity balls. That’s why we have a special charity package available for any charitable organisation that requires a venue for celebrations and recognition.
Award nominations open
If you know someone or a group that deserves recognition for all they do please nominate them in The Great Big Thank You Awards. Entering the awards are easy, just go to starthankyou.shropshirestar.co.uk or complete the online nomination form (now removed). You can make as many nominations as you like (but separate nomination forms for each individual or group) is required.
Deadline for ALL nominations is midnight on Monday, May 7 2018.
Following receipt of all nominations, a panel of judges will decide who goes through to the next round in each of the nine categories for the chance of winning an award. There will be a special write-up about each chosen finalist that will appear in the Shropshire Star newspaper and online. Readers can then vote for the person in each category who you think deserves to win by cutting out special tokens published in the newspaper. The voting tokens will appear in the Shropshire Star from July 12 until August 4. During certain times votes can be cast online too. The chosen winners be invited to an awards event being held in the autumn.
