Blists Hill Victorian Town
One of the museums at Ironbridge Gorge, and perhaps the most popular. Transported back to life in the late 1800’s with townsfolk in period costume going about their daily lives, shopping and working. An open-air museum that allows visitors to experience Victorian life. Visit the steam-operated pithead, Victorian chemist, squatters cottage, schoolhouse and a bank (where you can obtain Blists’ Hill own Victorian legal tender to spend during your day in the shops and pubs). A great family day out.
