Shropshire Star Review
We were delighted to recently welcome Andrew from the Shropshire Star to Dorrells Restaurant when he carried out an incognito review of our Telford restaurant.
The review took place on a Saturday evening in early March and our guests enjoyed:
To nibble whilst perusing our menu:
A small loaf of warm bread with herbs, breadsticks and a bowl of olive oil and balsamic vinegar
To start: Goat’s Cheese Cake, Beetroot Carpaccio, Toasted Hazelnuts and Red Wine Syrup; and Black Pudding Scotch Egg, served with Pancetta Crisps and Mushroom Ketchup
To follow: 6oz Fillet Steak served with Hand-Cut Chips, braised Field Mushrooms, Roast Cherry Tomatoes, Rocket and Parmesan Salad; and a vegetarian option of Wild Mushroom and Crème Fraîche Pitivier
To finish: Dark Chocolate Truffle with Toffee Popcorn Ice Cream; and also a Trio of Ice Creams.
