We are currently seeking a part time Night Porter to support our existing team. Hours will vary dependant on the business and will include Bank Holidays and weekends, averaging 2 or 3 nights per week, plus holiday cover.
You must be able to work alone and as part of a team, ideally you will have worked in a similar environment before, however training will be provided.
You will be the main point of contact for our guests throughout the night time hours, so experience of working with the public, telephone handling and food & beverage service would be an advantage. You will also be responsible for setting up, ready for the next morning, which will involve laying up for breakfast, breaking down and setting up function rooms, conferences and cleaning in the public areas.
You will be calm by nature and organised in your approach. You will be able to follow detailed instructions including table plans and function sheets to ensure correct set ups. You will be aware of health and safety requirements, confident to administer first aid and our emergency procedures (after training) and will be prepared to attend daytime courses occasionally to update your skills in these areas.
A basic knowledge of computer systems would also be an advantage. The position is of a physical nature.

* You must be able to get to and from Hadley Park at varying times, please note we are not on a bus route.
* You must be available to work night shifts including mainly weekends and bank holidays (including over Christmas time)
* You must have excellent spoken and written English
