Hannah & Tom Newman

Date of Wedding: 05/11/2016

Hannah Morris & Thomas Newman married at Hadley Park House Hotel on Saturday 5th November 2016.

They chose a civil wedding ceremony in the Conservatory at 12.30pm welcoming 62 adults and 5 children. Their Wedding Breakfast was served at 2.30pm in the Conservatory.

Guests enjoyed a glass of Bucks Fizz or a warming Baileys Hot Chocolate on arrival along with a selection of hot and cold Canapés including Thai King Prawn Skewers, Honey and Mustard Pigs in Blankets and Smoked Salmon and Goats Cheese Roulade .

For their wedding breakfast, guests enjoyed:

  • Vegetable Soup or Chicken Liver Parfait
  • Baked Salmon Fillet or Breast of Chicken with vegetarian guests enjoying the Goats Cheese Tart
  • Eton Mess or Chocolate Brownie

In the evening, 100 guests enjoyed a bowl of Lamb Stew with Dumplings and Fish and Chip Cones from the Bowl Food Selection.  Vegetarians had a lovely tasty Vegetable Pasta Bake.

Lovely Comments

Hadley Park was recommended to me by my sister who had been a guest at a wedding here previously, and when we came to look at the venue we were very pleased with the place. I was also very pleased to see in the national wedding awards it was voted the best ‘town and city venue’ in the West Midlands. The wedding was in November so it was very important for us to find a venue that was beautiful inside and out as we would probably not be venturing outside much in the cold so needed a nice interior but I knew I also wanted some pretty outdoor photographs if possible. Hadley Park is perfect because it is beautiful indoors and outdoors, JOL Photography  were able to take some beautiful photos (attached photos are by JOL)

We have been very pleased with the service we receive at Hadley Park, always happy to meet to discuss the wedding and answer my (many!) emails, they made some creative suggestions also which was very welcome.

We had a small crisis during wedding planning – we had booked fireworks since the wedding was bonfire night but they cancelled 5 months before the wedding. The team (particularly Mark) helped us to source another company to provide fireworks at a matched price for us which I’m fairly certain would have been impossible without their help. Everyone was wowed by the fireworks in the end so thank you Hadley Park for helping us with this!

We really enjoyed the personal touches Hadley Park helped us with, from Baileys Hot Chocolate at the drinks reception, allowing us to set up a games room and allowing my husband to fill my bedroom the night before the wedding with origami cranes (for good luck)! We felt really well looked after on the day, and many of our guests have been very complimentary about the venue and the day as a whole, which only ran so smoothly with your expertise.

Thank you for an amazing day!
