If you’re planning on holding your wedding reception here, then we charge just £375. You will also need to pay the registrar’s fees separately.

Receptions

If we don’t want a Civil Ceremony but would like a church wedding, could we still hold the reception at Hadley Park House Hotel?

We’d be delighted if you decided to do that. We’ve lots of menu options to choose from.

What’s the earliest time we could hold a Civil Ceremony or Reception at Hadley Park House Hotel?

The earliest would be 12 noon but you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier, to get changed or have drinks.

What’s the maximum number of guests we can have?

We can comfortably seat 85 guests in our conservatory and once our new function suite is completed in Spring 2010, we’ll have the capacity for 120 guests.

Can we invite more guests for the evening?

As there’s more casual seating at an evening reception, we can seat up to 130 in the conservatory and 160 in our new function suite.

Is there a minimum number of guests we have to have?

We do ask that your reception has a minimum number of guests if your wedding falls on a Saturday between 1st May and 31st October and also on Friday and Saturdays in December. It’s 40 people for the sit-down meal followed by 70 people in the evening.

We’d like a larger event, what can you offer?

We have the space to pitch a marquee in the grounds and would be happy to recommend a reputable company. We will also obtain quotes on your behalf too.

Entertainment

Do you have a resident DJ?

We have a recommended resident DJ which we can book on your behalf.

What about other entertainment?

We can provide you with a list of DJs, bands and musicians if you’d prefer to organise your own entertainment.

We'd really like fireworks.  Is this possible?

There’ll be no problem as long as they’re let off before 10.30pm and they’re supplied and supervised by a reputable pyrotechnics company.

Food

What price will I be charged for the wedding breakfast?

If you take a look at our menu selection, you’ll notice that there’s a price against each main course. This will also include your chosen starter which is served with homemade bread, the main course with seasonal vegetables, dessert and tea, coffee and chocolate truffles.

What if we have guests with special dietary requirements?

As long as we are aware in advance, we can cope with any special dietary requirement. Please do let us know so that we can provide your guests with a tasty alternative.

We plan to invite children.  What menu is available for them?

You have a choice. They can either dine from the main menu selection, or we have a specific children’s menu too. Just to let you know, children under 12 are charged at 50% of the adult price whilst any under 3’s are complimentary.

Drinks

Can we supply our own drinks?

We provide all drinks on an in-house basis and do not allow corkage.

Can we set up an account bar?

We’d be pleased to offer this if you’d like to set this up before the day.
