About Us

Hadley Park House is an elegant traditional manor house, which dates back to the 18th Century and a time when local man, Thomas Telford, was leading the world amid the industrial revolution. Around this time Shropshire was a centre for innovation, a tradition that has been firmly implanted in the business developments of the area today.

Since those exciting times, Hadley Park has seen numerous owners, caretakers and guests from all over the world, in fact one visitor to Shropshire from Japan became so attached to the charm of the house that he proceeded to buy the property for his own organisation and use it as an executive meeting place.

More recently, Hadley Park House has once again been given a new lease of life when in December 2003 award-winning hotel manager, Mark Lewis and his wife Geraldine took over the charismatic venue. Mark has a long and successful career in hotel management. The acquisition of Hadley represents a dream come true

Just six months on from taking ownership of Hadley Park, Mark and Geraldine had created a strong and passionate team which lead to the hotel being awarded an AA three star rating for the first time in its history and also being awarded a coveted AA Rosette for its cuisine, only the second restaurant in Telford to achieve such high standards.

We believe that our team are the lynchpin of an enjoyable stay.

We have a relatively small team and you’ll notice that they enjoy what they do; they’re attentive without being obtrusive and professional without being unapproachable. Unfortunately, you don’t get to meet all of the team; our housekeeping staff, kitchen porters and chefs work behind the scenes, but they’re very much at the forefront of ensuring you receive the very best care and hospitality.

We place great emphasis on staff training and personal development; it guarantees that guests receive genuine, yet professional service from all of our team and to us it’s an essential, worthwhile investment.
